A bi-monthly celebration of live, experimental, and improvised performance.
Blurring the lines between performance art, visual art and live music - Moving Compositions brings artists and audiences together for a “one night only” collaboration, where a series of unplanned performances unfold in-the-moment.
Every edition is a unique composition shaped through improvisation and collaboration - Offering a much-needed space for artists to play, experiment, and take risks, and for audiences to experience the thrill of spontaneous, cross-artform creation.
Hosted by performance artist Laura Christina Edwards and co-curated with The Concrete Gazebo, a Cambridge-based collective of improvising musicians, the event series is supported by Cambridge Junction’s Troop Artist Membership Scheme.
“a wonderful multi-sensory performance in-the-moment… such an innovative and amazing event – a feast for the mind, body and soul!”
